Year 6 Praying the Stations of the Cross

Children in Year 6 have made artwork of the Stations of the Cross and these are displayed on the KS2 playground. Year 6 have also added prayers to go alongside each station and the children in school will all have the chance to reflect on this before school closes on Maundy Thursday. Parents can also listen to the prayers here. Thanks Year 6!

Home Testing Kits for Adults

If you have a child who goes to nursery, school or college (delete as appropriate) in your household or bubble, get peace of mind by taking a rapid Covid test twice using a simple home test kit which gives results in 30 minutes

You can collect your test kits from: Yeadon Way Covid testing site 🕐1pm – 8pm, Monday to Sunday

Also, from Monday 22 March, you can also collect tests from any of the symptom-free testing hub sessions listed on the council website ⇢ www.blackpool.gov.uk/GettingTested

No appointment needed - just give your name and contact details on arrival

If you are unable to get to a testing site, you can order tests online ⇢ https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests

School opened to all pupils from Monday 8th March. Working with schools, the existing protective safety measures have been strengthened for both pupils and staff.  Professor Chris Whitty outlines the additional safety measures here ⇢ http://bit.ly/3bDDsQz

Mr Paul Turner, Assistant Director of Children's Services has also written a letter about all children returning to school from Monday 8th March:
