With schools in Blackpool set to welcome back all pupils from 8 March, we understand that some parents may have concerns about their children returning to the classroom.
It’s important to note that our schools have remained open throughout the pandemic to support critical workers and vulnerable children and we have managed this safely.
Working with schools, the existing protective safety measures have been strengthened for both pupils and staff. Professor Chris Whitty outlines the additional safety measures here ⇢ http://bit.ly/3bDDsQz
Mr Paul Turner, Assistant Director of Children's Services has also written a letter about all children returning to school from Monday 8th March:

We're looking forward to seeing all the children again very soon!
We are hoping to have a Book Week zoom with the author Dan Worsley for pupils in Y4, Y5 & Y6. Please watch out for details through class See Saw.

School is currently only open to children of critical workers and those children classed as vulnerable from Thursday 7th January until further notice. Home learning for all pupils not in school will begin Monday 11th January. Please telephone Miss Hanley at the school office 01253 354496 or email admin@holy-family.blackpool.sch.uk for queries or further information.
Many thanks to all our parents for their support and understanding at such a challenging time.
God bless you all.
