For those children attending school - vulnerable and key worker children, parents can help ensure that the risk of the virus spreading is as low as possible by following the guidelines below:

School is only open to children of agreed Key Workers or those identified as vulnerable.

Home testing kits can be ordered by parents here:

Children can only come into school if pre-arranged with school. Contact admin@holy-family.blackpool.sch.uk
Children, parents, carers or any visitors/deliveries MUST NOT VISIT OUR SCHOOL, if they are displaying any symptons of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Avoid any unneccessary travel on coaches, buses or public transport.
Children only come to school on the days/part days that there is no other childcare to ensure staff and pupil contact is kept to the absolute minimum.
When bringing or collecting your child, please maintain a distance of at least 2 metres from other parents and staff.  Staff will keep the glass partition closed at the office.
Please send your child in freshly washed clothes each day, if possible. Please don't send any unnecessary items into school.

Free School Meals Info

Whilst school is closed, we are asking those parents of pupils entitled to Free School Meals to contact school if they would like to collect a weekly food pack. Please let Miss Hanley know via the school e mail account by 5pm each Monday.

Measures taken in School during Pandemic

Staff & children will wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds frequently,  encouraged not to touch their face and to use a tissue for coughs and sneezes.
Increased cleaning of surfaces in classrooms, including desks and handles, within toilet blocks and cloak rooms.
For children with an EHC plan, school is working with the local authority alongside parents, to decide how best to continue supporting these children and young people to stay healthy.
